Description

Screens and refers all incoming calls and office visitors to ensure that accurate and timely office communications are facilitated and that office is maintained in a positive manner. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Greets and assists guests, visitors, patients, and other personnel.     
  2. Answers multi line telephone routing calls to the appropriate area and taking and delivering.     

Enters and reconciles daily charges.

  1. Accurately types or generates reports, logs, or other special projects as assigned by the supervisor.     
  2. Enters and totals all daily charges for speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy.     

Coordinates patient and therapist appointments.

  1. Schedules patient appointments in scheduling system.     
  2. Blocks out schedules for Therapist or assistant absences.     

Filing

  1. Files documents on charts for MHCC     

Statistician

  1. Maintains daily statistics for Extended Care Services.

  10. Practices proper phone etiquette, identifying self and department.     
  11. Reports adverse events regarding patients, guests, or self to supervisor immediately. 
Requirements

Education:

  1. High School graduate or equivalent.

Licensure, Registry, Certification:

  1. None required.

Personal Job related skills:

  1. Effective oral and written communication skills.
  2. Basic Computer skills.
  3. Knowledge of general clerical duties.

Experience:

Prior Work Experience: 

  1. One year experience in an office environment.

Technical Training: 

  1. Typing 35 wpm
