Retail Merchandising Services (RMS) based out of Brooklyn Park, MN is looking for a HR Coordinator to join our amazing HR team. - Coordinate recruiting efforts for field positions by identifying and utilizing a variety of candidate sourcing strategies to meet assigned recruiting metrics
- Conduct screening interviews for qualified candidates using behavioral, competency based tools.
- Process required background checks and new hire paperwork for select candidates
- Research employment legislation in different jurisdictions
- Oversee time off requests for field employees in order to minimize unassigned retail locations
- Work on assigned HR related projects as requested
Requirements
- Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, as well as a minimum of 1 year of previous Human Resources experience
- Basic knowledge of employment law best practices required
- Previous experience with high volume, non-exempt recruiting strongly preferred
- Outstanding organizational skills, strong interpersonal/customer service abilities and the ability to multi-task efficiently are all critical skills for this role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel required
- Previous experience in a retail setting preferred, but not required
We are looking for someone to work Monday-Friday, 9-5:30pm. This is a hybrid position after your first 90 days, hybrid schedule will be discussed further in the interview process. The pay for this position is $22.50 per hour.
