Position Overview:
We are seeking motivated and empathetic interns pursuing degrees in Social Work, Psychology, or related fields. This internship provides hands-on experience in youth and family support, case management, and Wraparound philosopy, while working alongside experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support case managers and learn how to submit documentation
- Shadow Care Managers and observe family-team meetings
- Learn about mental health and social service resources
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and professionalism
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Basic organizational and documentation skills
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- Prior volunteer or internship experience in social services or mental health
- Knowledge of behavioral and mental health interventions
- Familiarity with case management systems
