Job Summary

Encino Energy is looking to hire a Midstream & Marketing Analyst. Seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated, well-organized, and results-oriented professional with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and goals. This individual will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, able to produce detailed analytical work, and have strong modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain models to analyze deal and transaction economics 
• Manage pricing tools and provide pricing to multiple departments 
• Manage and maintain model for revenue and expense forecasting
• Provide reliable and timely analyses on commodity market fundamentals
• Generate analysis and presentations for BOD, Senior Executives, etc.
• Support review of acquisition opportunities
• Commodity deal entry and reconciliation 
• Ad hoc analysis, as requested

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical skills with advanced knowledge of Excel and the ability to build models
• Candidate must have good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and engage with others to focus on continuous improvement 
• Able to work independently on a variety of simultaneous projects
• Endur or similar ETRM software experience required
• Spotfire experience preferred

Education

Bachelor's degree, with a minimum 3-5 years of experience in commodity trading, midstream, or E&P. Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.

Travel Requirements

The percentage of travel anticipated for this position is 5 – 10%, including overnight extended stays.

Work Environment

This job is predominately located in a professional office environment. 

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position. Encino has a compressed work week with a “4/9/4” Work Schedule. Employees have the option to work four nine-hour days with the addition of four hours each Friday. Some flexibility in hours is allowed.
