Premier Neurosurgery is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant who excels at both clinical support and patient care coordination.
This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned healthcare professional who enjoys building relationships with patients, helping them navigate complex care plans, and serving as a trusted resource throughout their treatment journey. You will work closely with our specialized neurosurgical team to ensure every patient receives a seamless, organized, and compassionate experience from initial consultation through follow-up care.

What You'll Do
Patient Care Coordination
- Serve as a primary point of contact for patients before and after appointments
- Coordinate imaging, referrals, authorizations, and follow-up care
- Guide patients through treatment plans and next steps with clarity and responsiveness
- Communicate with hospitals, imaging centers, referring providers, and specialists
- Ensure a smooth and organized patient experience from first contact through ongoing care
Clinical Support
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Support patient registration and check-out
- Initiate referrals and enter orders
- Initiate and manage insurance authorizations, including coordination and follow-up
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
- Support physicians and clinical staff in delivering exceptional care
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Experience in a specialty practice strongly preferred (neurosurgery, neurology, spine, orthopedics, pain management, or similar)
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of patient service
- Professional, proactive, and team-oriented approach
- Commitment to delivering an exceptional patient experience

Pay Scale/Ranges:
$28.00-$32.00/hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*
