Full-Time | 40 hours/week
Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM | Year-Round

Position Overview

A Child’s Place Early Learning Center is seeking a dedicated, full-time Older Toddler Teacher to join our collaborative Toddler Team. This position works with children ages 2–3 and plays a key role in supporting their academic, social, emotional, and physical development through a learning-through-play approach.

We are looking for an educator who thrives in a team environment, is confident leading a classroom, and is passionate about fostering independence and growth in young children.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the daily classroom functions for a group of up to 12 children 
  • Plan and implement engaging lessons and activities aligned with ACP curriculum 
  • Support children’s development across all domains (academic, social-emotional, fine/gross motor) 
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment 
  • Build strong, positive relationships with families 
  • Assist with daily routines including meals, nap time, toileting, and potty training 
  • Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization, as well as shared center spaces 
  • Collaborate effectively with co-teachers and leadership team 
  • Adhere to all Department of Human Services regulations and ACP policies 
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development 
  • Contribute to a positive and professional workplace culture

Requirements

 

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related Human Services field 
  • Minimum of 2 years of documented experience working with children 
  • Strong leadership and classroom management qualities 
  • Teaching experience required 
  • Strong ability to work with co-teachers
  • Meets Group Supervisor qualifications
