Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Morning Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role focuses on early-morning production and preparation to support daily operations and upcoming events. Schedules are primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend opportunities based on business needs.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working independently, starting their day early, and being a key part of a high-performing kitchen team.


Schedule & Availability

  • Typical shift: 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM 
  • Weekday availability is required 
  • Weekend shifts may be available depending on business volume 

Please note: scheduling may vary slightly based on event production and seasonal demand.


Compensation

  • Starting pay: $18 – $19/hour 
  • 90-day performance review with opportunity to discuss growth, pay progression, and long-term fit 

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute daily prep lists efficiently and accurately 
  • Prepare ingredients, sauces, proteins, and components for events and production 
  • Follow recipes and kitchen standards with consistency 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment 
  • Assist with receiving, storage, and inventory as needed 
  • Support chefs and kitchen leadership in meeting production timelines

Kitchen or prep experience is helpful, but not required for the right candidate.

Must have proper documentation to work in the US 

Must have your Illinois Food Handlers Certification
