ENTEK is excited to welcome a Maintenance Planner to our team in Terre Haute, Indiana. What You’ll DoAs a Maintenance Planner, you’ll be responsible for planning and scheduling non-emergency maintenance work to improve workforce productivity, equipment reliability, and overall plant performance. You’ll coordinate labor, materials, tools, and documentation to ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.


In this role, you will:

  • Review and plan all non-emergency maintenance work orders 
  • Define job scope and determine the most efficient execution approach 
  • Identify and coordinate required materials, tools, and resources 
  • Develop and maintain maintenance schedules, including preventive maintenance (PM) activities 
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams and facility leadership to prioritize work 
  • Ensure safety requirements are integrated into all maintenance planning activities 
  • Maintain accurate records, job plans, and planner reference systems 
  • Monitor schedule execution and ensure completed work orders are properly documented 
  • Conduct post-job reviews to improve maintenance processes and PM programs 
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools such as 5S and Kaizen 
  • Communicate effectively with maintenance, operations, and cross-functional teams 
  • Represent ENTEK with professionalism and uphold company values
Requirements
What We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking a technically skilled and highly organized maintenance professional who can proactively plan work, solve problems, and support a transition from reactive to proactive maintenance.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience 
  • Strong understanding of maintenance planning and work management processes 
  • Experience with CMMS systems and related software 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams 
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in a high-volume maintenance or manufacturing environment 
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and scheduling 
  • Knowledge of skilled trades such as electrical, mechanical, HVAC, hydraulics, or plumbing 
  • Experience supporting reliability or continuous improvement initiatives 


Your Work Schedule

  • This is a full-time, exempt position working Monday through Friday, day shift. Some flexibility may be required based on maintenance and operational needs.
