Because our headquarters is in Auburn, you will work with your Territory Technician Lead to manage your region effectively. You start and end your day in your own driveway. You provide the elite craftsmanship and local knowledge; we provide the "Pit Crew." Our dedicated dispatchers and services team handle the quoting, logistics, and scheduling from the office so you can focus on the work.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Expertise: Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial electrical systems and related equipment across Mid-Maine.

• System Reliability: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance for your regional clients.

• Project Support: Assist with equipment installations when required.

• Communication: Work in sync with your Pit Crew to ensure efficient resolution to customer needs and total satisfaction.

• Relationship Building: Be part of the Thayer team in the region—be the one your customers trust for excellent service.


Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of commercial electrical service experience.

• Maine Master Electrical License (or able to obtain)

• Licensing: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

• Maine PNT Gas License – Required (or able to obtain).

• Preferred Certifications: 

o EPA Certification.

o Oil & Solid Fuel.

• Core Skills: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote/travel role.
