Prospect Park Alliance, the non-profit sustains, restores and advances Prospect Park for the diverse communities that call Brooklyn home, seeks a Marketing and Communications Intern. Candidates should be creative, organized, energetic self-starters with a strong interest in gaining marketing and communications experience at a flagship Brooklyn institution. The intern will gain experience executing marketing strategies, researching best practices, producing content for our website and social media channels, and helping to further the mission of the Alliance.
Responsibilities
Projects will be assigned based on the needs of the department and the interests and skills of the intern, and may include but are not limited to:
Internships can be applied for college credit, and a stipend for travel and lunch is available if working on site. Internships require a minimum commitment of 10 weeks, and work schedules are flexible, with a minimum of 10-15 hours per week.
In addition to the tasks assigned to the intern, the intern will also have the opportunity to learn more about the park and the Alliance by participating in volunteer opportunities, “green and grow” employee development workshops, and have a tour of the park.
