We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Manager to oversee the daily functions of our Aiken Plant. What You'll Do:

  • Open and close the plant daily, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage day-to-day plant operations to maintain consistent, high-quality production standards.
  • Lead and oversee plant personnel, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure optimal performance.
  • Safely batch concrete and load trucks according to order specifications, maintaining high efficiency and quality standards.
  • Enter material tickets into the back-office system accurately and promptly.
  • Prepare daily operational packets, including batch tickets, material tickets, daily truck sheets, and other relevant documentation.
  • Uphold all safety, environmental, and operational policies without exception.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture that aligns with the company's core values.


Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years of related experience in concrete batching, plant operations, or a similar production environment.
  • Possess ACI Level I Certification or ability to obtain within six months of employment.
  • Possess SCDOT Concrete Technician – Batching Certification or ability to obtain within six months of employment.
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of concrete batching technology, equipment, methods, and safety procedures.
  • Prior supervisory or management experience in a production setting.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to safely lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
  • Ability to climb, stoop, bend, squat, lift, stretch, push, pull, twist, kneel, stand, walk, sit, reach, and operate a computer keyboard. 
  • Ability to safely climb up and down stairs and/or ladders.
  • Ability to work primarily outside, with exposure to the extremes of hot or cold weather.
