About the Role

We’re seeking a dynamic, self-motivated professional who thrives on relationship building, business growth, and community engagement. As our Physician Relations & Business Development Specialist, you will serve as the face of our organization in the Austin market — cultivating referral relationships, generating new business opportunities, and ensuring our providers are the top choice for patient care.


This role is ideal for someone who blends the strategic mindset of a marketer with the relationship-building skills of a physician liaison.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay Range: $50,000 – $60,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Dress Code: Business professional
  • Schedule: Full-time, on-site, with travel in the ATX area


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute market-specific strategies to grow our referral network in alignment with leadership goals
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with physicians, practices, and clinical leaders
  • Introduce new providers to key referrers and expand awareness of services across the community
  • Serve as a trusted liaison between referring offices and our clinical/operational teams
  • Organize and attend meetings with providers to promote services and foster engagement
  • Deliver marketing materials and referral resources to hospitals, clinics, and medical groups
  • Track and document outreach activities in the CRM system; provide regular progress reports
  • Monitor competitive activity and collaborate on local marketing and business development plans
  • Represent Epic at community and professional events to increase visibility and drive referrals
  • Manage budgets responsibly, including expense tracking and reporting
Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Required: Previous experience in sales, marketing, or business development
  • Preferred: Healthcare/medical industry experience
  • Plus: Prior physician liaison or referral relations experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills — you can easily build trust and rapport
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a relationship-first mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience preferred
