Job Summary

Encino Energy is looking to hire a Contract Administrator. Seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated, well-organized, and results-oriented professional with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and goals. This individual will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, produce detailed analytical work, and demonstrate expertise in contract management.


Responsibilities

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of all Commercial agreements to become a subject matter expert on rights and obligations of all parties
  • Serve as custodian for all Commercial contracts, including Midstream and Marketing agreements, by implementing and maintaining a document retention program 
  • Draft and maintain contract summaries of key terms along with tracking of expirations, required notices, etc.
  • Assist in contract negotiations
  • Assist the Commercial team in navigating internal DOA limits and approval processes
  • Streamline and manage document execution process to include internal and external stakeholders 
  • Counterparty set-up / maintenance and commodity deal entry and reconciliation in Endur  
  • Confirm executed deals and address any discrepancies
  • Review counterparty confirmations and resolve issues related to discrepancies 
  • Ad hoc analysis, as requested
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Energy industry background required
  • Working knowledge of Northern American Energy Standards Board (NAESB) standards preferred
  • Experience with trading or risk management processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SharePoint and Endur or similar ETRM software required
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and engage with others to focus on continuous improvement 
  • Able to work independently on a variety of simultaneous projects
  • Candidate must have good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to adjust work schedule to meet business needs

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required, with a minimum 3-5 years of experience in contract administration


Travel Requirements

The percentage of travel anticipated for this position is 5 – 10%, including overnight extended stays.


Work Environment

This job is predominately located in a professional office environment.


Work Schedule

This is a full-time position. Encino has a compressed work week with a “4/9/4” Work Schedule. Employees have the option to work four nine-hour days with the addition of four hours each Friday. Some flexibility in hours is allowed.
