Description
In this role, you will:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment across the plant
- Observe equipment in operation to identify issues and determine corrective actions
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery and components
- Perform routine inspections and plant walk-throughs to monitor equipment condition
- Support equipment setup, changeovers, and preventive maintenance activities
- Adjust and test equipment to ensure proper performance
- Operate tools and equipment to fabricate or repair parts as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation, work orders, and material requisitions
- Support scheduled maintenance shutdowns and planned work activities
- Monitor spare parts usage and maintain organized equipment documentation
- Collaborate with operations and support teams to resolve equipment issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and lockout/tagout requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools such as 5S and Kaizen
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- One (1) or more years of maintenance or related experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals, and procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications (Advanced / Level 3 Candidates)
- Associate’s degree or technical certification, or equivalent experience
- Three (3) or more years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment
- Experience with advanced troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems
- Knowledge of plant equipment startups, shutdowns, and failure recovery
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability practices
- Electrical or mechanical certifications and training
- Ability to support the training and development of other maintenance personnel
Your Work Schedule
- This is a full-time, non-exempt position working 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule. Flexibility is required to support maintenance coverage and scheduled shutdowns.

Salary Description
$30.00 - $36.00 per hour
