Description

 

Clinical Instruction & Supervision

  • Supervise students in clinical settings in accordance with Board of Nursing regulations.
  • Provide direct instruction, demonstration, and evaluation of nursing skills.
  • Facilitate clinical judgment development using evidence-based teaching strategies.
  • Evaluate student performance using standardized evaluation tools aligned with course objectives.
  • Provide timely written and verbal feedback to students.
  • Identify at-risk students and implement remediation plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate clinical attendance and evaluation documentation.
  • Ensure student compliance with facility policies and professional standards.


Compliance & Professional Standards

  • Maintain current and unencumbered RN license.
  • Ensure compliance with state Board of Nursing requirements.
  • Adhere to institutional policies and clinical affiliate agreements.
  • Maintain CPR certification and other required credentials.
  • Model professional behavior consistent with nursing standards and ethical practice.
Requirements

 Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing required. 
  • Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years recent clinical experience.
  • Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred.
  • Ability to travel to different clinical sites 
  • Proficiency with educational technology and electronic documentation systems.

Preferred

  • Prior teaching experience in a Practical Nursing or Associate Degree Nursing program.

 

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods during lab and clinical instruction.

Ability to lift and move lab equipment and supplies (up to 25 pounds).

Ability to demonstrate nursing skills safely.

Salary Description
$45-$55/H
