Responsibilities for Automotive Technician / Mechanic:

• Inspects, maintains, and repairs company vehicles and equipment. 
• Diagnoses mechanical issues and performs repairs safely and efficiently. 
• Conducts preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability. 
• Maintains accurate service, inspection, and repair records. 
• Identifies and reports safety or mechanical concerns promptly. 
• Assists with troubleshooting facility and operational equipment. 
• Keeps tools, equipment, and work areas clean and safe. 
• Follows all safety procedures and company guidelines. 
• Coordinates repair priorities and parts needs with supervisors. 
• Performs other assigned duties.

• 2+ years of automotive technician/mechanic experience. 
• Must be at least 21 years old. 
• High school diploma or equivalent required. 
• Good set of tools (specialty tools provided).
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and repair techniques. 
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices. 
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and staff. 
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. 
• Able to prioritize tasks and handle urgent repairs. 
• Works independently and as part of a team. 
• Reliable, accountable, and professional.

Physical Requirements for Automotive Technician / Mechanic:

• Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor operational environments.
• Ability to use tools and mechanical equipment safely.
