About the role:
As a Project Manager in our 3d-identity studio, you will lead projects from initial planning through fabrication, installation, and closeout, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations. Managing schedules, budgets, vendors, and logistics, you will partner closely with sales, design, fabrication teams, and clients to drive seamless execution. Success in this position requires strong ownership, clear communication, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with shifting priorities. With project sites located across the U.S., you can expect to travel monthly to support key phases, including on-site installations.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including installation planning, sequencing, site access, and readiness coordination, in partnership with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Lead client communication and project status updates throughout the lifecycle, partnering closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on timelines, scope, and execution priorities, with increased cadence during active installation phases.
- Evaluate vendor and fabricator proposals, providing pricing analysis and recommendations aligned with project goals, budget, and production constraints.
- Coordinate with fabricators and vendors on pricing, lead times, logistics, and production status, and manage fabrication releases to ensure accurate documentation and readiness for production.
- Review production files, construction documentation, and scope details to ensure accuracy and execution readiness.
- Manage project budgets, track costs, process change orders and approvals, and support ongoing profitability reporting.
- Identify, assess, and communicate project risks, issues, and required actions to internal teams and clients to support timely decision-making.
- Oversee on-site installation activities, including kickoff, QA/QC of delivered materials, client coordination, and ongoing site visits and status meetings to track progress, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion.
Who you are:
- 3+ years of experience in project management, construction management, construction administration, or a related built environment role.
- Experience in commercial interior construction, fabrication, installation oversight, or related environments such as experiential or environmental graphic design, signage and wayfinding, or owner’s representative work.
- Proven track record managing projects with responsibility for budgets, schedules, vendor coordination, and client communication.
- Comfortable leading and proactively collaborating with project teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present clearly and manage client, vendor, and partner relationships.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, effective time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-changing environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Experience with project and collaboration tools such as Mosaic, Miro, Mural, Microsoft Teams, Bluebeam, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Solid understanding of fabrication processes, material applications, design intent, and build feasibility, with the ability to read and interpret construction documentation and support field verification activities, including site surveys and ADA-related considerations as needed.
- Demonstrated analytical, financial, and problem-solving ability with the capacity to assess risk, evaluate options, and support sound project decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; PMP or related certification is a plus.
Work Environment & Travel:
This full-time role is based in Denver, CO and follows a hybrid model, with in-office presence three days per week to support collaboration and mentorship, and remote flexibility on other days. During the first 90 days of employment, full-time in-office presence Monday through Friday is required.
The role includes regular monthly travel within the United States to support project needs, including client meetings, site visits, installation oversight, and team collaboration. Occasional evening, weekend, or overnight travel may also be required depending on project demands.
Physical Requirements:
This role is primarily office-based, with regular travel to job sites where field activity is required. While in the office, work is generally sedentary and computer-based. When on job sites, you will be active throughout the day, including walking, standing, and moving between project areas. You may occasionally lift, carry, or move items weighing 20 pounds or more in support of site visits and installation activities. Comfort working in dynamic job site environments is important.
