The Sales Support Associate's primary focus will be on scheduling meetings for the External Wholesalers assigned to the SSA’s team. This position will take guidance and direction from the Senior Internal Consultants, Internal Consultants, and External Wholesalers assigned to the SSA’s team. The SSA will be expected to pass the FINRA SIE License exam, Series 7 License exam, and the Series 63 License exam within one year from hire to successfully fulfill the job responsibilities. This entry level position is designed to be part of a career path in the Sales Organization at Griffin Capital.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Salary and Benefits
$45,000 with full benefits package including health benefits 100% paid by employer, PTO, including Birthday Holiday, paid Community Service Leave and other employer sponsored plans.
Griffin will sponsor FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. Employees that successfully complete licensing requirements are eligible for promotion and compensation increase, including commissions. Opportunity for additional promotions available, as this role is part of a promotional path to becoming an Internal Wholesaler.
Griffin is offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus for new candidates in this role.
Education - Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Experience – Prior professional office experience preferred.
Certifications and Licenses – SIE preferred, but not required. Study and pass FINRA SIE License Exam, Series 7 License Exam & Series 63 License Exam within 12 months of hire.
Computer Skills - Prior experience with the Microsoft Suite of programs including Outlook, Word and Excel is required. Although not required, to perform this job successfully, an individual would ideally have knowledge of Contact Management systems including Salesforce.
