Industrial Maintenance

Summary of Position:


This position is responsible for, but not limited to, performing maintenance services in the areas of plumbing, electrical, welding, construction, painting and/or machine servicing.


Responsibilities:


  • Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them by checking blueprints, repair manuals and part catalogs when necessary
  • Diagnose forklift and crane/hoist issues and fix them quickly and efficiently
  • Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts
  • Repair, replace and reassemble defective equipment parts using hand and power tools
  • Performs routine preventive maintenance on equipment and buildings
  • Will be on call and required to come in if any equipment breaks down during other shifts


Qualifications:


  • Must have knowledge on preventative maintenance on forklift and heavy machinery
  • Must have 480 experience
  • 6 months experience in maintenance
  • Knowledge in repairing air pumps and hydraulic presses
  • Demonstrate skills in resolving issues quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Have basic computer skills
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to multitask and work in a production environment


Requirements:


  • Lift, carry, push and or pull up to 50lbs
  • Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently
  • Sit, stand, walk and drive for 1 – 10 hours per day


Work Environment:


Must be able to work in a wide range of weather conditions in a manufacturing environment under immediate supervision, for long shift periods.


Work Hours:


AM Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
