Upper Campus Principal Administrative Assistant

SUMMARY


This position reports directly to the Upper Campus Principal of Academics and is the liaison between the faculty and the Principal. Under the direction of the Academic Principal of Academics, this person is responsible for coordinating all Upper Campus-related correspondence with our faculty, managing the Academic Principal's calendar and meetings, coordinating all team meeting agendas, processing faculty time off through Paylocity, and planning and coordinating all major events and activities. 


The ideal candidate will have prior experience as an executive administrative assistant and a desire to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.  Must have the ability to multitask and be pulled off task on a regular basis.  Applicants must be proficient with Microsoft Office and have a good working knowledge of Google Drive.  Prior experience with Paylocity and Blackbaud is also helpful but not necessary.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist Principal of Academics by scheduling team meetings, interfacing with faculty on faculty support, managing Principal’s calendar, and preparing agendas, calendars & handbooks 
  • Work with Principal on Upper Campus Events: In-Service Week, Back to School Night, Thanksgiving Feast, Staff Christmas Luncheon, Senior Leadership meeting for Graduation Planning, Senior “Finish Strong”, HS Awards Ceremony, Senior Blessings, Senior Ridge Run, Staff End of Year Luncheon, Graduation (principal script and program), special office lunches including facility requests, set up, communication, and reminders
  • Initiate and edit/proofread Principal’s correspondence with Faculty and Staff – reminders, schedules, documents
  • Scheduling of Master Calendar (events, days off, holidays, PD, late start Thursday schedules, etc)
  • Receive & supervise students in High School Administrative offices
  • Working with the Principal on hospitality, including meals & gifts

OTHER FUNCTIONS

  • Attend educational team meetings as appropriate
  • Assist in accomplishing campus goals
  • Maintain regular punctual attendance to meet work responsibilities
  • Use of personal vehicle for errands during work hours
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • High School Diploma and school experience
