The Recruiter at The Bay Family of Companies manages full life cycle recruitment for a diverse range of roles. This individual partners closely with hiring leaders, using data, creativity, and relationship-driven strategies to attract and close high-impact talent. This role requires a proactive, consultative recruiter who excels at identifying talent who may not be actively seeking new opportunities and effectively utilizes Paylocity as the applicant tracking system.

Key Responsibilities
Full Life Cycle Recruiting
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for multiple roles, from intake through offer acceptance
- Partner with hiring managers to clarify role needs, priorities, and candidate profiles
- Lead intake conversations and define sourcing strategies and timelines
- Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communication throughout the process
- Maintain accurate candidate records and status updates in the Paylocity ATS
Passive Sourcing & Talent Attraction
- Execute targeted sourcing strategies with a focus on passive talent
- Source candidates via LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and direct outreach
- Develop compelling outreach messaging based on candidate motivation and market insights
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
Candidate Experience & Employer Brand
- Deliver a positive and consistent candidate experience through timely, high-touch engagement
- Tailor candidate and interview experiences by role and level
- Develop clear, competitive job postings and job descriptions
- Represent The Bay Family of Companies professionally in all candidate interactions
Interview, Selection & Offer Management
- Screen candidates through resume reviews and phone or virtual interviews
- Advise hiring managers on interview best practices and candidate evaluation
- Drive the offer process, including salary recommendations, negotiations, and offer letters
Compliance, Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure recruiting activities comply with employment laws and internal policies
- Use Paylocity to support recruitment tracking and reporting
- Stay current on recruiting trends, labor markets, and sourcing best practices
- Recommend process improvements to enhance recruiting effectiveness and candidate experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, preferred
- Two (2) or more years of HR experience, required.
- Demonstrated success engaging passive candidates through creative sourcing
- Experience managing full life cycle recruitment across multiple roles
- Confidence managing offers and candidate closure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong time-management and prioritization abilities
- Working knowledge of ATS platforms, preferably Paylocity
- Solid understanding of interview and candidate assessment techniques
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or related tools
- Familiar with a variety of sourcing channels and recruiting methodologies
