About the Role

We are looking for an analyst who can take messy, incomplete data and turn it into clear, actionable business insights, primarily using Excel, BI, and database query tools. You’ll work directly with business leaders to answer ambiguous questions, identify what’s driving performance, and help guide decisions. This role will focus on pulling together data across systems, building reliable reporting, and turning repeated asks into scalable outputs that improve visibility and speed of decision-making.

This is a builder role in a growing company. The right person can work independently, deal with imperfect data, and help create structure where it does not yet fully exist. 

What You’ll Do

· Analyze business performance to identify trends, drivers, and anomalies

· Translate raw data into clear, concise insights for non-technical stakeholders

· Build structured, repeatable analyses in Excel from imperfect and fragmented data

· Partner directly with leaders across operations, sales, and finance to frame problems and guide decisions

· Turn ambiguous questions into clear analytical approaches and outputs

· Create simple, scalable outputs for recurring business questions

· Present findings in a way that drives action—not just awareness

Requirements

  

What You’ll Bring

· 3–7 years of experience in business analytics, strategy, operations, or similar roles

· Advanced Excel skills, including:

· Complex formulas, lookups, and pivot tables

· Structuring raw data into usable formats

· Building clear, executive-ready outputs

· Strong ability to take ambiguous problems and produce clear, practical answers

· Experience working directly with business stakeholders (not just fulfilling requests)

· Solid SQL skills (enough to pull, validate, and explore data independently)

· Familiarity with tools like Tableau or Power BI

· Strong communication skills—you can simplify complex findings into clear takeaways

Nice-to-Have

· Experience in fintech, payments, or a similarly complex operating environment
