The Substitute Lifeguard helps maintain a safe and positive aquatic environment by filling in for scheduled staff as needed. This position is not assigned regular weekly shifts but may pick up available shifts.  Attendance at all in-service trainings is mandatory 

• Monitor patrons and ensure safety at all times
• Enforce facility rules and policies
• Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate care 
• Assist with general facility duties as needed
