Job Summary:
The Production Lead is responsible for ensuring that orders from contracted vendors and businesses are processed, assembled, and shipped according to contract specifications. This role involves overseeing job setup for others, maintaining quality and safety standards, and collaborating with staff and clients to meet production goals. The Production Lead will also assist the Production Coordinator with daily operations and address any additional tasks as needed.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production Coordination:
- Schedule and assign daily production tasks efficiently.
- Monitor production workflow to ensure timely completion and shipment of orders.
- Communicate and coordinate all deliveries with Management Staff to maintain adherence to contract deadlines.
Inventory Management:
- Track and manage rough and finished goods inventory.
- Identify and order necessary parts in a timely manner, ensuring all parts are stored properly upon receipt.
Quality Control & Safety:
- Oversee quality and quantity standards during production.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOL, and other safety regulations related to production and facility operations.
Staff Training & Supervision:
- Train and mentor new staff on production processes and safety standards.
- Promote adherence to the Agency Confidentiality Policy and other organizational protocols.
Equipment & Reporting:
- Monitor production equipment and tools, reporting any issues to the Production Manager promptly.
- Report all production and inventory concerns to the Production Manager or Production Coordinator.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Complete all required staff training within the designated time frame.
· Perform other duties as assigned to support overall production operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience: High School Diploma/GED
Travel: Travel is primarily during the business day, although overnight travel may be occasionally required.
Physical Demands: In order to do the essential functions of the job, the employee must be able to hear, talk, and see. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping. The employee must be able to occasionally lift/and or move items up to 50 pounds. Good vision is required to perform driving responsibilities.
Mental Demands: Using standard mental and visual attention continuously, with occasional periods of continuous alertness and concentration.
Hearing: The noise level on the production floor is occasionally loud and frequently moderate.
