Compensation
- Non-exempt, hourly
- The standard wage range for this role is $22.71 to $26.71 per hour.
- It may be possible to earn more over time up to $30.66 per hour.
- Saturday shift differential of 10%
Work Schedule:
- 40 hours per week Monday-Friday
- Saturday rotation required which equates to working 1 Saturday per month with a day off the previous week (so it's not overtime)

Job Summary
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assist with tasks related to the dispensing of prescriptions, assist with inventory control, collect payment at time of service, and deliver prescriptions directly to patients' homes. The Pharmacy Assistant will also monitor clinic fax refill queues and enter incoming refill requests into the Electronic Medical Records system and route to appropriate recipients, as well as route other documents received pertaining to prescriptions including prior authorization requests.

- High school diploma or GED and two years of higher education or equivalent work experience.
- Current Washington State Pharmacy Assistant license - can be obtained upon offer acceptance
- Current BLS Certification (can provide training upon hire)
- Current and valid Washington State driver’s license
- General office skills, including data entry and computing skills.
- Ability to use office equipment (fax, photo copier, phone system).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Record review prior to beginning employment
- Ability to understand and respond effectively and with sensitivity to special population groups, including those defined by race, ethnicity, language, age, gender, sexual orientation, economic standing, & others.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Previous customer service or delivery experience
- Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish)
