Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Repair and maintain all in-house facility situations
· Changing ballasts and light bulbs
· Replacing filters in roof top air conditioners/heating units
· Septic trouble shooting
· Plumbing-leaks, repairs, plugs, and installations
· Painting and drywall installation
· General building maintenance and repair
· Setting up and closing fountain, annually
· Assist in building layout design and workstation design
· Must follow all safety regulations and have working knowledge of LOTO procedures.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or completion of a vocational/trade school program.
- Experience: Generally 2+ years of experience in property, industrial, or commercial building maintenance
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing repair, electrical systems (up to 120 volts), carpentry, and painting
- Physical Ability: Must be able to stand/walk for long periods, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift 50–60 pounds
- Licenses: Valid state driver’s license is typically required
- Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Preventative Maintenance: Familiarity with maintaining, cleaning, and repairing machinery, appliances, and building structures.
- Safety Compliance: Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety procedures, such as lock-out/tag-out.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and computerized work order systems.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, time management, and ability to work independently or with a team
Salary Description
$23.00 to $28.00 per hour
