We are seeking a Phone Operator for our organization to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. 


Job Summary:

The Operator responds to incoming calls promptly and directs callers to the appropriate destination, providing a smooth, clear, and professionally courteous communication practice.

  • Answers multiple incoming telephone lines.
  • Obtains necessary information and transfers calls to correct extensions.
  • Provides information to callers as appropriate.
  • Assists with the maintenance of directories and on-call lists.
  • Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of patient and organizational data.
  • Perform general clerical duties such as electronic faxing and labeling referrals
Requirements
  • High school diploma required
  • Excellent customer service
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Experience and knowledge with an emphasis on heavy call volume and the operation of switchboard-Shoretel/Mitel or like systems are required.
