Description
- Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments.
- Assist patients with entering and exiting vehicles as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of vehicles between transports.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and organizational policies.
- Communicate with professionalism, courtesy and cultural humility with patients, staff, and healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of trip logs, mileage, incident reports.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies, accidents, or unexpected situations.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Previous experience in a driving or transporting patients, seniors, or individuals with disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to travel between locations as needed.
- Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is a plus.
