Vacancy: 1 vacancy at Applewhite facility. Monday through Friday from 9:30pm - 6am (added 5/11/2026) Base pay rate + 3rd shift differential (.75c).


Job Summary:

The Janitorial Team Member is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards throughout the plant, including production areas, restrooms, break rooms, and offices. This role plays a critical part in supporting a clean and safe working environment that meets health and safety standards. 


Main Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Perform  general cleaning duties including sweeping, vacuuming, moping, waxing and      polishing floors
  • Maintain   cleanliness of exterior areas, ensuring parking lots remain free of trash      and debris
  • Dust    and clean office furniture, walls, ceilings, and light fixtures
  • Restock      all kitchen and restroom related items
  • Dispose      all trash and recycled containers
  • Complete      Minor maintenance related work such as replacing light bulbs, hanging      mirrors, replacing fixtures, painting and sheetrock work
  • Use      of household tools and powered tools, industrial vacuum cleaners and      scrubbing and buffing machines. 
  • Move      cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas
  • Complete      all checklists related to the job duties of the position
  • Complete      all forms to reorder items related to the job duties of the position
  • Support      EHS and 5S standards across all assigned area
  • Communicate      all concerns related to the position
Requirements

 Education:

· High   School Diploma or GED


Experience:

· Minimum of 3-5   years of related janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience

 

Certificates,   Licenses, Registrations:

N/A

 

Mathematical   Abilities:

· Basic math skills 

 

Communication   Skills: (Writing, Foreign Language, Reasoning)

· Ability to read,   write and speak English

· Highly effective,   articulate communication skills (verbal & written) with strong   interpersonal effectiveness and the ability to work with all levels in the   organization and across cultures

· Bilingual English   Spanish preferred


Physical Requirements: 

· 100% will be spent engaged in the activities listed above. This will require walking, standing, squatting, bending, reaching, overhead reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling

· Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, or team lift a minimum of 50 pounds

· Be able to work in an environment that is climate controlled but is exposed to potential heat, rain, and cold 

· Must use appropriate PPE and handle cleaning chemicals safely

· Must be willing to receive vaccinations as precautionary measures related to the position.

· Be willing to work alternate shifts to cover responsibilities based on the needs of the business.
