Maintenance Electrician A
Description


· Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on production equipment, machinery, conveyors, motors, pumps, furnaces, compressors, and automated systems.

· Install, maintain, and modify electrical wiring, panels, breakers, transformers, sensors, and controls.

· Diagnose and repair PLC systems, VFDs, HMIs, relays, and other automation equipment.

· Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize unplanned downtime.

· Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, manuals, and technical drawings.

· Respond quickly to breakdowns and urgent maintenance calls during production.

· Ensure compliance with safety policies including lockout/tagout and arc flash procedures.

Maintain maintenance logs, repair records, and parts usage documentation 

Requirements

  

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Technical degree or certification preferred.

· 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred.

· Experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments preferred.
