Cottage Door Press is a dynamic and award-winning publisher and product company located in Rolling Meadows, IL. Our focus is on creating high-quality, educational, and engaging products for children, including books, electronic learning products, toys, and interactive formats that inspire learning and play.

Under the guidance of the Art Directors and Creative Team, this role will support the design and production of products across our Toy and ELA divisions. This intern will gain hands-on experience supporting interactive product development, creative asset management, packaging, and production workflows while learning how products move from concept to final production.

Responsibilities Include:

• Collaborate with the creative team to support product development and design concepts across toy and electronic learning products
• Assist with organizing and reviewing creative assets including artwork, audio, video, and production files
• Prepare and format JPGs, PDFs, presentation materials, and production assets for internal teams, vendors, Amazon, and sales use
• Support product development workflows by tracking files, updates, and approvals across teams and external partners
• Work within existing templates and branding guidelines to update and maintain product assets
• Retouch and manipulate images, photography, and illustrations as needed
• Assist with hand-building product flats, mockups, and samples

• Enrolled and attending college for graphic design, fine art, marketing, product development, or a related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Familiarity with Mac operating systems
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Interest in children’s products, toys, learning products, and creative storytelling
