The Welding Engineer is responsible for the design, development, optimization, and continuous improvement of all welding equipment, procedures, and processes to ensure products consistently meet or exceed customer expectations, AWS standards, and internal quality requirements. This role operates cross-functionally throughout the organization, partnering closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, and Training teams to support manufacturing excellence across both manual and automated welding operations.
This role requires a highly engaged, solutions-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about driving innovation, process stability, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in welding engineering, robotic automation, fixture design, and weld quality systems, while also demonstrating the ability to mentor and develop team members across the organization.
