The Manager, Branded Content - Golf will lead the development and execution of original, sponsor-integrated content that fuels the partnership ecosystem for TGL and WTGL, enhancing the fan experience across multiple platforms. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Marketing and will work closely with internal Partnerships, Social and Production teams to translate sponsor objectives into compelling, on-brand storytelling that lives across digital, social, broadcast, in-venue, and owned channels.
This role will oversee the end-to-end branded content lifecycle, from concept through execution, and will also own performance recaps. This person will serve as a key connector between internal teams, league partners, sponsors, and external creative and production partners. This role requires strong creative instincts, exceptional organization, and the ability to manage multiple high-visibility partner deliverables in a fast-paced sports environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal Client Services & Activations team to translate sponsor objectives into scalable, on-brand branded content ideas and programs
- Lead ideation and development of original branded content across digital, social, broadcast integrations, in-venue experiences, and emerging platforms
- Own end-to-end execution of branded content programs, including timelines, scopes, approvals, deliverables and more
- Support new business pitches and renewals through the creation of partnership narratives and content frameworks
- Ensure all branded content aligns with the creative standards of TGL and the sponsor, always leading with a fan-first storytelling approach
- Manage workflows across internal teams including Marketing, Social, Broadcast, Production, Legal, and Team Relations
- Coordinate with external agencies, creators, and production partners to deliver high-quality content on time and on budget
- Oversee trafficking and delivery of branded content assets to ensure specs, deadlines, and platform requirements are met
- Collaborate with internal Social, Broadcast and Venue teams on sponsor integrations within live programming and in-venue experiences
- Present concepts, updates, and recaps clearly and confidently to internal stakeholders and partners
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or similar area of study, or equivalent working experience
- Five or more years of social media, digital content or media experience
- Proven experience in sports and entertainment social content from strategy through execution and analysis
Preferred:
- Experience working in sports, entertainment, or media
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
- Passion for the game of golf
- Experience developing sponsor-integrated or brand content across multiple platforms
- Background partnering with brand sponsors and/or agency teams
- Familiarity working with creative, production, and post-production teams
