Bartender
Description

 Bartenders are responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks, providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean workspace, and managing inventory. Key daily tasks include checking IDs, processing payments via POS systems, engaging with customers, restocking supplies, and upholding safety regulations. 


Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Beverage Preparation & Service: Mix classic and creative cocktails, pour wine, and draft beer according to recipes. Garnish drinks appropriately and serve them to customers at the bar or through waitstaff.
  • Customer Interaction: Greet guests warmly, provide recommendations, take food/drink orders, and engage with customers to create a positive atmosphere.
  • Safety & Compliance: Check customer identification to verify legal age. Monitor for over-intoxication, stop service when necessary, and handle potentially disruptive customers.
  • Bar Operations & Maintenance: Maintain a hygienic workspace by cleaning bar tools, washing glasses, wiping down surfaces, and cleaning spills immediately.
  • Inventory & Stocking: Replenish stock, slice garnishes, prepare mixers, and manage inventory levels to ensure the bar is fully supplied.
  • Financial Management: Open and close tabs, handle cash, and process credit card transactions using a POS system.
  • Opening/Closing Duties: Set up the bar (stocking ice, garnishes, alcohol) and perform closing tasks, such as cleaning and balancing cash receipts. 


Requirements

  • Physical Stamina: Standing for long shifts, lifting, and bending
