This is not a desk job. The Corporate Bar Manager is equally comfortable behind the bar on a busy Friday night as they are in a vendor meeting on a Tuesday morning. They are the connective tissue between ownership’s vision and the bartenders executing it every shift — leading by doing, coaching by example, and bringing genuine enthusiasm to every interaction.
Job Summary
The Corporate Bar Manager oversees bar operations across multiple venues, ensuring consistent guest experience, beverage quality, compliance, and profitability. This role supports local bar teams, develops standards, and works with leadership on menu strategy, labor control, inventory, training, and promotions.
Core Responsibilities
- Train, coach, and support bar managers, bartenders, and barbacks to maintain service quality and brand standards.
- Review customer feedback, resolve operational issues, and support consistent guest experience improvements.
- Coordinate with vendors, general managers, and corporate leadership on purchasing, promotions, and rollout of new programs.
- Standardize bar operations across locations, including opening, closing, service, sanitation, and guest recovery procedures.
- Monitor beverage costs, labor costs, waste, inventory levels, and sales performance to improve profitability.
- Oversee menu development, recipe specs, pricing, and seasonal beverage program updates.
- Ensure compliance with alcohol service laws, health and safety rules, licensing requirements, and company policies.
Corporate Bar Manager
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Bar Manager to oversee bar operations across multiple locations. This role is responsible for maintaining consistent service standards, developing beverage programs, training bar leadership, managing inventory and labor performance, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bar, beverage, or hospitality management experience, ideally in multi-unit operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, labor management, POS systems, and beverage cost analysis.
- Proven leadership in hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and travel between locations as needed.
