The Admissions & International Program Specialist is a full-time, 12-month position for a mature Christian professional dedicated to supporting the Admissions and Finance team. This dual-focus role is responsible for maintaining strong enrollment and wait pool status across all divisions while providing strategic leadership for the school's international initiatives.

The successful candidate will engage with families throughout the entire admissions lifecycle—from vetting mission-appropriate families to onboarding new students—while managing the complexities of overseas programs, international partnerships, and compliance. This position requires excellence in customer service and a heart for ministry.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Spiritual: An active Christian who feels called by God to support the school’s missions.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, International Relations, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in admissions, international program management, or academic administration.
  • Skills: Exceptional cross-cultural communication, leadership abilities, and proficiency in a second language (preferred). Knowledge of SEVIS and visa/immigration matters is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities


1. Recruitment, Outreach & International Strategy

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the strategic vision for international initiatives, partnerships, and program expansion.
  • Global & Local Growth: Develop strategies to attract both domestic and international students, including attending open houses, school fairs, and community events.Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with local communities, feeder schools, international partners, and educational agents.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Lead campus tours and connect with prospective families through personal FCA stories and testimonies.

2. Application & International Operations Management

  • Process Oversight: Manage the full admissions lifecycle, ensuring all domestic and international application materials (academic records, TOEFL scores, etc.) are complete and accurate.
  • Compliance & Risk: Monitor international travel guidelines, implement safety protocols, and manage all visa/immigration matters (e.g., SEVIS).
  • Onboarding: Assist with the New Family Onboarding Process, including enrollment, financial aid, and specific orientation needs for international students.
  • Logistics: Plan and manage daily operations for overseas programs, including logistics, travel, and on-site support.

3. Interviewing, Assessment & Vetting

  • Mission Alignment: Conduct preliminary interviews with prospective students and families to assess fit with the school’s Christian culture and values.
  • Evaluations: Administer or schedule entrance assessments to determine academic readiness for new student applicants.

4. Data Management & Finance

  • Registrar Duties: Prepare and maintain student files for review; lead registrar needs for new and outgoing student files.
  • Analytics: Track and analyze data regarding inquiry-to-enrollment conversion rates and international program trends.
  • Budgeting: Develop, manage, and reconcile program budgets, including international expenses and field advances.

5. Event Coordination & Team Collaboration

  • Event Leadership: Organize and attend admissions events (Open Houses, Preview Nights, Information Sessions, and Parent Meetings)
  • Team Integration: Work collaboratively with school leadership to ensure the appropriate balance of students across grade levels and participate in discussions on enrollment targets.

6. Ongoing Relationship Building

  • Community Care: Serve as the primary point of contact for families, providing timely communication via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Long-term Engagement: Maintain relationships with applicants and alumni to foster future referrals and support the international program’s long-term growth.
