The Team Leader assumes responsibility and accountability for the quality of nursing activities and staff function during his or her shift. Provides direct communication with the Nurse Manager. Effectively utilizes nursing personnel, time and equipment on the unit and assists the department manager in the daily operation of the unit. Performs direct patient care, within scope of practice. Continually assesses care and directs staff to make immediate changes in the plan of care. 

Current and valid RN License in the State of Ohio 

Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting-telemetry setting preferred. 

BLS, ACLS on hire and maintain current 

Rhythm interpretation class upon hire and maintain current 

BSN preferred
