Description

 

  • Inspect raw materials, production processes, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met 
  • Monitor production operations to maintain compliance with company, GMP, HACCP, USDA, and FDA regulations 
  • Perform routine quality checks, measurements, and product testing 
  • Identify defects, contamination risks, or non-conformance issues and report findings to management 
  • Document inspection results, quality reports, and corrective actions 
  • Verify proper labeling, packaging, and product specifications 
  • Ensure sanitation and food safety procedures are being followed throughout the facility 
  • Conduct pre-operational and operational inspections of equipment and production areas 
  • Assist with internal audits and regulatory inspections 
  • Monitor temperatures, weights, and product quality standards 
  • Work closely with production, sanitation, and warehouse teams to resolve quality concerns 
  • Enforce company policies and food safety procedures 
  • Investigate customer complaints and assist with corrective action plans 
  • Maintain calibration records for quality testing equipment 
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and safety
Requirements

 

  • Previous quality control or food manufacturing experience preferred 
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, USDA, FDA, and OSHA standards 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Basic computer and documentation skills 
  • Ability to work in cold, wet, or fast-paced environments 
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities 
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds if needed
