Maintenance Technician

Courtyard by Marriott is seeking a dedicated and service-focused Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain the overall operation, safety, and appearance of the hotel. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining Marriott brand standards while delivering excellent guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections throughout the property
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues
• Respond quickly to guest maintenance requests and emergency repairs
• Maintain guestrooms, public areas, pool/spa areas, and hotel equipment to Marriott standards
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Assist with painting, drywall, carpentry, and general repairs
• Support QA readiness and daily property walks
• Coordinate with Front Desk and Housekeeping regarding room readiness and maintenance needs
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies
• Assist with vendor coordination and equipment monitoring as needed

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance or engineering experience preferred, preferably in hospitality
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform physical tasks as needed
• Strong sense of urgency and accountability
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• HVAC or maintenance certifications are a plus
