Description

As a Seasonal Groundskeeper, you will play an important role in maintaining and enhancing Palace Sports & Entertainment properties, venues, and grounds. This includes iconic venues such as Pine Knob, Meadow Brook Amphitheatre, and Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill. Working alongside the Property Management team, you will help ensure our facilities remain clean, safe, and event-ready by supporting overall grounds maintenance and post-event cleanup efforts.


We are seeking a dependable, proactive team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude who takes pride in maintaining exceptional spaces and supporting memorable guest experiences.


What you’ll be doing

  • Maintain landscaping, parking lots, sidewalks, and stairways across multiple properties.
  • Remove debris and trash following games, concerts, and special events.
  • Assist the Conversions team with daily operations and event-related needs.
  • Transport fleet vehicles to and from repair facilities as needed.
  • Support Physical Plant staff with maintenance projects and operational tasks.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to bend, walk facilities, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, wind, snow, and rain.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
