Hours: 30hrs (Full time) Monday - Friday. Position will increase to 40 hrs as responsibilities increase. This position primarily works daytime hours but must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed throughout the year.

As a critical member of our organization, the Development & Volunteer Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fundraising and friendraising efforts. Primary Responsibilities:
- Create a biennial fundraising plan, goals, activities and action steps in tandem with Marketing & Development Officer and leadership team.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Officer and Leadership Team members to accomplish KPI’s prepare, manage and budget for the development plan.
- Assure that gifts/pledges are properly recorded and delivered to donors, adheres to the organization's board-approved policies and procedures for gift acceptance, acknowledgement, donor recognition and allocation of philanthropic revenue.
- Provide reports and development updates to the Board and Leadership Team as requested.
- Keeps current with fundraising and volunteer management practices, procedures and inform the Board, volunteers, staff, and executive leaders of matters that would benefit and interest them in their work on behalf of the organization.
- Create and manage four annual Benevon donor cultivation events and four annual quarterly signature volunteer events to create and maintain relationships and ultimately convert and grow the donor base to meet the annual fundraising goal.
- Organize and manage four annual fundraising events that contribute to meeting 100% of the annual fundraising goal
- Provide excellent customer service to Child Focus team members, stakeholders, volunteers and donors
- Be an ambassador by networking, promoting our work and inspiring others to give, support and further Child Focus’ great reputation by attending community and corporate events
- Complete data entry, event registrations, quarterly newsletters and maintain Child Focus stakeholder, donor contact, giving records and documentation in Constant Contact and Qgiv.
- Organize the annual Staff Retreat

Requirements
- Three to five years professional employment experience in nonprofit administration, volunteer management, event planning, fundraising, supervision and/or leadership experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with MS 365 preferred.
- Excellent social engagement and customer service skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Outstanding written and spoken communication and organizational skills, presentation and public speaking, storytelling and the ability to inspire and motivate, budget management and various platform technology skills including Constant Contact, Qgiv and MS 365.
- Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
