Workplace Type: Hybrid if you live within 45 miles of our Emerald Isle, NC or Independence, OH offices (Mon & Fri remote, Tue–Thu onsite). Work Hours: This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
Travel: Travel will be required, 5% to 15%.

About the Role
The Sales Engineer is a member of the Supply Chain Planning Sales Team representing an end-to-end Supply Chain Planning solution, with technical and operational expertise. You will drive Supply Chain Planning benefits to prospects and clients. Solidify Supply Chain Planning as “solution of choice” with prospects and accelerate individual opportunity progression utilizing deep product understanding and expertise in application within the prospect business environment.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Include
- Owner of the Supply Chain Planning solution expertise through product evangelism, deep product expertise, and application of industry nuances and differentiators.
- Create deep Supply Chain Planning product expertise and represent the ‘go-to’ expert for the Supply Chain Planning platform.
- Provide expertise for Supply Chain Planning integration across prospects' business systems during the sales cycle.
- Support Supply Chain Planning opportunity qualification, progression, and closure through technical expertise and relationship building.
- Work directly with Channel Partners and Value-Added Resellers as required as part of sales cycles.
- Participate in deep-dive customer business requirements discovery sessions and develop integration requirements specifications and industry alignment.
- Provide Supply Chain Planning platform, product, and bill of material inputs into the prospect's proposal cycle.
- Prepare and lead Supply Chain Planning product demonstrations and Lead Proof of Concepts (POC).
- Provide customer and market differentiator input to Supply Chain Planning Product Management as input into future development and capability requirements.
- Attend key Sales Leadership and L10 meetings as required.
- Job Responsibilities and any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and support our organization’s values.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in consultative selling of key business solutions, including ERP, Supply Chain Planning, and Business Intelligence.
- Minimum BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Business Intelligence, or equivalent, providing skills to achieve the Professional Requirements.
- Special focus given to Supply Chain enterprise and Supply Chain Planning SaaS consulting experience.
- Passionate individual with client-facing experience and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Complex thinker with the ability to effectively absorb prospective business and technical requirements.
- Consultative selling approach with the ability to blend product knowledge, business value, industry experience, and supply chain planning improvement.
- Exposure across key business areas, including Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, and Finance.
- Capability to work proactively with the ability to investigate and apply prospective business and technical requirements into customized Supply Chain Planning product demonstrations and proof of concept.
- Team collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
