Description
Arctic Cat is hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to support both strategic sourcing initiatives and tactical, day-to-day operational execution. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to drive visibility, accountability, and performance throughout the supply base. This position is located in Thief River Falls, MN.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain datasets and analytical tools that support sourcing strategy, procurement operations, supplier performance, and material availability.
- Analyze cost, quality, delivery, and capacity data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities across the supply chain.
- Support multi-year strategic sourcing and contracting initiatives, including bid package development, supplier analysis, contract administration, and negotiations.
- Build supplier roadmaps, supplier accountability metrics, and capacity planning models to drive visibility and supplier performance.
- Lead initiatives focused on cost reduction, supply continuity, and operational excellence.
- Develop commodity strategy, perform contract writing and administration activities, negotiate with suppliers, and place and fulfill purchase orders.
- Establish datasets and packages for strategic contracting.
- Identify and implement strategies for cost out opportunities.
- Provide mentorship to analysts to help others develop sourcing and procurement skills and knowledge.
- Serve as a lead resource for analysts by providing guidance, mentorship, and support in sourcing and procurement best practices.
Requirements
- Supply Chain experience required, including experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or operational improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Software Knowledge: Oracle and SAP, MRP systems are preferred.
Expertise:
- Must bring analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to interpret complex data and translate insights into action.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and project coordination skills.
- Experience with supplier management, contracting, procurement systems, or supply chain analytics preferred.
