As a Line Assistant Lead, you will assist the Supervisors in the daily coordination and oversight of packing line operations. You will help monitor production, ensure that quality standards are met, and provide support to team members to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


· Assist Line Lead in coordinating daily production line activities and personnel.

· Monitor the line to ensure continuous flow and resolve minor issues to prevent downtime.

· Support team members with training, direction, and communication of daily goals and expectations.

· Ensure compliance with quality standards, food safety guidelines, and company policies.

· Help verify correct packaging materials, labels, and documentation are used for each product run.

· Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any delays, quality issues, or equipment concerns.

· Ensure workstations remain clean, organized, and free from debris or hazards throughout the shift.

· Perform line work as needed and fill in during breaks or absences.

Requirements

  

Education and Experience

· 1–2 years of experience in a fresh fruit packing facility or similar production environment required.

· Previous leadership or team lead experience is preferred.

Skills

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to multitask and lead by example in a fast-paced environment.

· Problem-solving skills and ability to respond calmly under pressure.

· Attention to detail with basic reading and math skills for tracking production and quality.

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
