Description

Job Summary:

The Marketing & Events Coordinator supports Auxiom’s market presence, brand consistency, and business development activity. This role sits at the intersection of events, content, and leadership support — touching nearly every part of the business.

The Marketing & Events Coordinator plans and executes events, produces podcast content, supports leadership communications, and keeps marketing operations running smoothly. The role is well-suited to someone who takes ownership, thrives on variety, and finds satisfaction in making things run well.

Key Responsibilities:

Events

  • Coordinate planning and logistics for Auxiom-hosted events (dinners, roundtables, client experiences, community events).
  • Manage Auxiom’s presence at sponsored industry and community events — booth setup, materials, logistics, and on-site representation.
  • Coordinate sponsorship and logistics for golf outings and similar community events (Auxiom participates in several per year).
  • Manage vendor relationships, venue details, run-of-show documents, and day-of execution.
  • Handle invitations, RSVPs, follow-up, and post-event recaps.

Podcast & Content

  • Support production of the BLTNT podcast — guest research, prep materials, scheduling, and follow-up.
  • Run video, sound board, and cameras during podcast recordings (training provided; post-production is handled by a partner).
  • Draft and schedule content across social media platforms (LinkedIn and others) and support the Five Bites newsletter.
  • Capture and organize key messaging, stories, and brand moments.

Marketing Operations

  • Keep marketing materials, templates, and files current and organized.
  • Coordinate with leadership to turn ideas into execution.
  • Track active campaigns, follow-ups, and content calendars.

Leadership Support

  • Help prepare meeting materials, briefing documents, and external communications.
  • Anticipate what’s needed before being asked — then make it happen.

Key Measurements of Success

  • Events are planned and executed on time, on budget, and reflect the Auxiom brand well.
  • Podcast episodes are produced on schedule with minimal friction for guests and leadership.
  • Social and newsletter content is consistent, on-brand, and published reliably.
  • Marketing materials and files are organized, current, and accessible.
  • Leadership feels well-supported and prepared for external engagements.

Requirements

Qualifications and Abilities:

  • Prior experience in marketing, events, communications, or a similar coordination role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear, professional communicator — in writing and in person.
  • Comfort using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) to work faster and smarter.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Canva is helpful; experience with HubSpot (contact lists, sequences, and email workflows) is a meaningful plus.
  • Some familiarity with video production, AV equipment, or live recording setups is a plus (full training provided).
  • Self-directed and ownership-oriented — does not require step-by-step management.
  • Genuine curiosity about business, technology, and how organizations operate.
