Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue targets and improve profitability
- Lead, motivate, and manage staff across various departments, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Maintain excellent guest relations, addressing concerns promptly and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote the hotel and attract new business
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize costs
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for staff
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager or in a senior hospitality management role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Sound financial and operational acumen
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure
- Knowledge of hotel management software and MS Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
