Psychiatric Technician

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Psychiatric Technician working as part of our intensive outpatient program for children and adolescents ranging in age from 8 - 13. In this role you will monitor patients, facilitate structured groups, and complete administrative duties as part of the Intensive Outpatient Program. Responsibilities include working as part of our intensive outpatient program team for arrival, dismissal, group facilitation, monitoring for patient safety, working alongside providers, accurately documenting into the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, helping to maintain efficient patient flow in a fast paced environment, responding to patient inquiries, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

We are seeking a professional and energetic candidate with strong interpersonal and communication skills who understands the importance of patient care. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy (EHR experience preferred) and possess a basic understanding of psychiatry principles. A college degree is required with a preference for a pre-med, psychology, or related major. Experience in a medical office, or equivalent education preferred. Prior experience with children or adolescents in a care setting a plus.
