Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Denver is seeking a dedicated part-time Parish Life Coordinator to support parish operations and serve our community. We anticipate this to be a part-time (10-15 hours per week) position for the months of June, July and August.

The Parish Life Coordinator is a dedicated individual with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as an understanding of the values and mission of the Catholic Church. 

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule Mass intentions, special intentions and provide Mass cards when requested. Provide monthly reports to sacristan, the ambo and the altar. Provide monthly list of Mass Intentions for Bulletin and Flocknote to MSC.

Check the telephone answering system and Prish email inbox regularly and return calls or deliver messages to Pastor, etc.

Coordinate the Parish Affiliation Form process, gathering information for the Pastor’s evaluation, contacting the family and coordinating meeting times as needed

Responsible for monthly envelope reporting

Manage priest stipends and check requests as needed

Manage logistics for second collections as needed

Greet visitors to the Parish office in a friendly and professional manner

Maintain aesthetics, cleanliness and organization of Common Parish Space

Maintain the Parish calendar and schedule events, managing conflicts as they arise. Reserving rooms and space as needed.

Coordinate Mass Talks

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
• Ability to work collaboratively with clergy, staff, volunteers, and parishioners
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 
• Refrain from promotion or approval of, or the living out of, and conduct or lifestyle that would reflect discredit or disgrace on, or cause scandal in relationship to, the Archdiocese of Denver, or considered to be in contradiction with Catholic doctrine or morals.

The pay range for this position is $19.29-$20.14/hour.
