Cast House Supervisor

Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Cast House Supervisor to lead production operations for our cast house facility in Sherman, TX. This role will initially begin on day shift for training and evaluation purposes to ensure the supervisor gains a thorough understanding of our processes, team, and operational expectations. Depending on experience and readiness, the selected candidate may remain on day shift for several months before transitioning to the permanent night shift schedule.

  

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate cast house production activities to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
  • Lead, coach, and develop cast hours team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Monitor production performance and address operational issues as they arise.
  • Maintain a professional, productive, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with management and production personnel across shifts.
  • Train employees on procedures, safety standards, and best practices.
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing, and performance management.
Requirements

  

Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Cast house, foundry, aluminum, steel, or metal production experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, safety practices, and quality standards.
  • Ability to lead by example and maintain a professional presence on the production floor.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive working relationships.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus but not required.
  • Must be able to pass all required background screenings and pre-employment requirements.

Schedule

  • Initial training and onboarding will be conducted on day shift.
  • Permanent schedule will transition to:
    • Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Overtime and weekend work may be required as business needs dictate.
