Job Summary:

The Home Care Operations & Sales Manager is responsible for the overall performance and growth of the home care department. This individual will build new business opportunities by fostering relationships within the community and establishing a strong network to attract potential clients. The role involves leading and coordinating activities such as client visits, presentations, calls, and emails. The manager will oversee the home care management team and caregivers, ensuring compliance with professional standards and state and federal regulations. Key responsibilities include caregiver support and development, time tracking oversight, payroll, billing, and executing effective marketing strategies.


Business Development and Marketing

  •  Build and maintain relationships with contacts at assisted living facilities, hospitals, communities, and other organizations to generate client referrals.
  •  Introduce and present the company to prospective clients, referral partners, and community organizations.
  •  Research market trends, target demographics, client needs, and economic conditions to inform business development strategies.
  •  Identify opportunities for new campaigns and services to increase sales.
  •  Execute marketing strategies for growth in both new and existing markets, including private pay contracts with healthcare providers and expanded services.
  •  Develop and implement marketing plans, including tracking performance against goals.
  •  Collaborate on media plans, advertising, public relations, and email marketing initiatives.

Operational Oversight

  •  Oversee data tracking in Sandata and EVV systems, including attendant schedules, hours, and client lists.
  •  Verify the accuracy of new client/attendant profiles, schedules, authorization terms, service plans, and billing rates for financial accuracy.
  •  Ensure timely completion of required documentation for home care meetings and financial tracking.
  •  Renew all licenses and certifications (e.g., CDPHE annual renewal, HCPF) before expiration.
  •  Train staff on Sandata database use and assist new attendants with EVV and TVV systems.
  •  Support finance with payroll and billing for attendants and clients.

Team and Client Support

  •  Provide guidance and support to caregivers, addressing questions, resolving general issues, and managing new assignments.
  •  Investigate and report issues related to client care or employee well-being, including complaints, incidents, or accidents, to the HR Director and Nurse.
  •  Ensure caregivers follow protocols for client interactions and escalate concerns to the Transit Department as needed.
  •  Support the team through a 24/7 emergency phone rotation.

Quality and Compliance

  •  Collaborate with Licensed Health Care Professionals (RNs) to develop, maintain, and present the Agency’s Quality Management (QM) program.
  •  Develop and implement new policies and procedures, staying updated on healthcare industry changes.
  •  Research and implement innovative procedures or technologies to improve efficiency.
  •  Promote a culture of safety and quality while fostering positive relationships with consumers, families, co-workers, and referral sources.

Regulatory Requirements:

  •  College degree or equivalent experience
  •  Valid driver license
  •  CPR Certification, preferred.
  •  2 years of home care experience preferred.
  •  2 years of Marketing/Sales experience.

Language and Technical Skills:

  •  Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  •  Be a strong leader with a solid work ethic and ability to collaborate and coordinate with all team members.

$60,000 - $80,000
